Thank you for the link. We made low-fat sugar cookies, sprinkles and a pretty ribbon a few years while raising our grand-daughter and used them for Christmas Tree decorations. Our grand-daughter loved doing it so much she wanted to invite her friends over to enjoy the fun. We told them the Christmas Story and the Legend of the Candy Cane while we were doing it. She loved sharing the story of Jesus birth with her friends. She is carrying on the tradition with her girls, of course the oldest is only 3 but you can never start them too young.

Cookies, popcorn, and other kid-friendly holiday treats are often loaded with fat and sugar. Ditch the store-bought varieties for simple recipes you can make together.
