I'm on chapter 4 of The Spark and one thing that REALLY touched me [I think in Chapter 3] was the Tipping Point Theory! I LOVED it! Most people give up RIGHT BEFORE they're going to have a breakthrough. This helped me so, so much! So that *even* if I'm not seeing results immediately [like on the scale], I can keep enduring because at SOME POINT I will hit the tipping point and things WILL start moving. This happened to a friend of mine. She started a weightloss/exercise program and did her treadmill for 4 WHOLE months for 4 miles a day and didn't lose ONE pound! Then after 4 months, she started dropping a pound a day and has kept it off for over a year!
Also, I have to say that this is the first time in over 20 years that I don't feel like I'm on a diet, but rather changing my WHOLE outlook on eating, exercise, LIFE choices, etc.! I'm THRILLED about this change!
