I had 1/4 cup of blueberries in my steel cut oatmeal that I had made with 1/2 apple and some raisins. for lunch I had a huge garden salad with 1/4 an avacado and one whole orange cut up in it, with balsamic vinegar for dressing. I have fresh pineapple cut up in the fridge for snack later. And I'll have some veggies with dinner, don't know what yet.

Your challenge today is to EAT YOUR VEGETABLES! This should be easy peasy for ALL of you. Recommendations for fruits and vegetables are AT LEAST 5 a day. You South Beachers need 4 1/2 cups EVERY DAY. We are going to focus on getting in your veggies today.
How many servings can you get in? Great ways to add vegetables to your day are:
*Vegetable juice *Vegetable soup *Add them to your omelet, sandwich, rice or pasta dish *Grill them *Have a big salad
Remember to go easy on sodium, butter/margarine, or cheese sauce. These additives can turn your healthy eating into a diet disaster. Eat them in moderation!
