Since I'm not a coffee drinker, I'm not around it.

Would you like to know that I made coffee for the first time tonight? emoticon

Since at the hospital tonight and over 150 employees staying the night cause of the snow storm...I went and just got a pot of just plain hot water and the other I put caffinated coffee in it. Let me tell ya, I made a tiny mess of water, but quickly recovered.

Now our doctors and employees who have to work over have their coffee! emoticon

I've got a 3 DVD pack on line very cheap of her walking videos. I will have to find them but that would be a good change for me.

Slow but will get there!

I tried a new chicken recipe last night, made it very low sodium and super tasty. Also, found a new website from Dr. Oz, with several workout videos. I tried one that was listed from Leslie Sansome and it was a nice one mile walk. I felt so good after it, that I ended up getting out of the house with my son and walking some more, while we shopped of course. But, got tons of walking in. Anyhow, now thinking of getting one of her DVD's. Here's the link for anyone who wants it:

Happy Friday to everyone! The weekend is almost here - WOOHOO!!

Trying something new can be scary. Today, I'm going to finally sign up at a gym which is something I have never done before. I'm a little nervous, but really excited. Working out around other people is something I haven't done since college (ya know..back in the dinosaur ages!).


Your challenge today is to try something new to you! Here are some suggestions for you to try:

*A new healthy food or beverage
*A new exercise
*A new recipe
*A new message board on Sparkpeople
*A new way of doing your exercises (incorporate more weight, resistance bands, stability ball, medicine ball, etc.)

These are just a few suggestions. Please feel free to share what you did that was new to you today.
