Does shopping count? I just have walked from one end of Wal-Mart to the other, several times. Not power walking, but then I can't power walk anyway, and often have to hang onto the cart to stay upright!

Then I was at it again last night. By the time I got home I was in so much pain.Staying home tonight for a break and then back out again tomorrow. Almost finished though. It's harder this year because I have a small budget and trying to stay within it.

I am feeling a bit pent up, as the weather here has been rainy for several days. My son needs to get out of the house a bit and get some energy too. So thinking about going to one of two malls and just getting some exercise by walking back and forth. Though which one will be the question. One is very active and will be filled, though has plenty of stores I would like to check out, while the other is not much of a mall anymore, though plenty of space to walk easily. I guess I will play it by ear. Though determined to get about 10,000 steps or more in today. Maybe some stationary biking later too!

Sadly, it is too muggy and humid to walk outside. We have a slight heat wave right now, though thankfully changing tomorrow! YEAH!

Happy Tuesday to you!

Ok, weird topic title, essentially it means, "Let's go for a Holiday walk!"

Today's challenge is getting out of the house to go for a walk and/or after work going for a stroll. If the weather is to cold to go outside, then go to one of the lesser crowded malls and walk for a while, just to stretch those legs, take in the holiday decorations and spread some Holiday cheer!

Other ideas, rather than getting outside or at the mall to walk, include:

- Going to a local Museum and walk around. Some have Christmas/Holiday displays to enjoy!
- Go to a science center and walk a bit.
- Go to the gym, if you have a membership and walk around their indoor track or on a treadmill or eliptical.
- There are plenty of other options.

Basically, just get yourself moving, work off some of that holiday stress, along with any guilty indulgences and just enjoy the day!

Have a happy Tuesday!
