I am so far behind, I am just getting some of the emails for new posts.
The weekend before this past one, I basically spent all day Saturday AND Sunday at home, napping, cuddling with the cat and watching a bit of TV, then curled up for another nap! I felt so refreshed come Monday morning. Too bad that feeling didn't last lol
This is one of the most hectic times of the year for a lot of us. There are company funcitons, baking, present buying and wrapping, get togethers with family and friends, decorating, and the list can go on and on and on. In all this, we often forget to take time to just relax and get enough sleep for our bodies.
Your challenge today is to make time for yourself and keep your body refreshed with enough sleep and relax with a good movie, book, yoga or some music.
I decided on this challenge, because I just realized I have been going non-stop since before Thanksgiving and wondering why I am still not over my bronchitis and feeling of a lack of energy. Well, it is because I am not allowing myself enough sleep at night and not taking the time to just "chill" for a bit. So starting today, I decided to take a break from things and just have a more relaxed day. I am hoping by doing this today and tomorrow, I will feel better.
Remember to take time to listen to your bodies as they do tell you when enough is sometimes enough and you need rest!
