I track my foods and the salt is hard one to keep the numbers down. It takes some work, trying to keep it under that 2000 mark. Not to bad lately, but sure have had some bad weeks. It's not good for me, still fighting the high B/P. Meds. were doubled, from 10 to 20, not cool.....Lynn emoticon

yes the sodium is my biggest problem and i think its because i subsitute hi sodium foods like the morningstar cuz im not big on beef. and even cottage cheese half cup has abut 400 mg..so i find when i follow the tracker and use the subs my sodium doesnt go as hi..i keep an eye on the sodium thru the meals and if it looks like i have enuf left for a morninstar or cottage cheese then ill do it..my constistently going over 2000 quite a bit has hampered my loss..so we will see..next is the water but i drink a lot of decaf tea and i heard that works the same. hard to drink water easy to drink hot tea!!

I have been lax at times regarding the tracker until the past week. So will step it up and make sure everything is in check. I want to go into the holidays healthy, happy and energetic and emerge the same way, instead of sick at the end of the holidays.

So will be hydrated, keep my sodium counts low and use my tracker more as an influence to keep everything in check!

Happy Thursday to you!

Your challenge today is to keep your sodium counts below 2000 mg, post all meals and snacks in your tracker and stay hydrated with at least 8 glasses of water, maybe more.

Today is an easy challenge, things we all should be doing anyhow. Though there are some of us that find the tracker too much of a hassle, we stop tracking our foods, then we wonder why we have bloating, experience headaches and dizziness and just having a hard time losing weight. Hey, I have been guilty of it in the past. Though using the tracker will keep you within range of your sodium or at least make you more aware of where the sodium lurks.
