I drink a lot of cold water, as it is still warm here. Though sometimes get tired of it and drink a lot of crystal light with the water.

I first started low with the water counts, then moved higher and higher. I feel so much better the more hydrated I am.

I usually drink anywhere from 10 to 12 glasses or more a day. Somedays I do fall short, but I at least make sure it is 8.

Sorry this post is coming a bit late....lots going on this weekend and today.

Happy Monday and Tuesday to you!

Your challenge today is to DRINK AT LEAST 8 GLASSES OF WATER.

Did you know?:

*You lose water through urination, respiration, and by sweating.

*If you are very active, you lose more water than if you are sedentary.

*Twenty percent of your water need will come from the foods you eat. The rest of your water need should come from the beverages you drink. Water is the best choice. Sodas have a lot of sugar in them, so if you drink sodas, you may take in more calories than you need. Herbal teas that aren't diuretic are fine. Sports drinks contain electrolytes and may be beneficial, just look out for added sugar and calories that you don't need.

Health benefits of drinking water
*Regulate appetite
*Increase metabolism
*Boost energy levels
*Less water retention
*Alleviate some headaches
*Help reduce blood pressure
*Help reduce high cholesterol
*Ease joint pain
*Decrease in risk of some cancers
*Less chance developing kidney stones
*Release toxic waste products
*Improves skin

Grab your mug full of water. YOU CAN DO THIS!

Have a STAYING HYDRATED Monday and Tuesday!
