Congratulations on the weight loss, even if it wasn't as much as you'd hoped. I am sure I havent lost a pound! Of course, that would mean trying to emoticon
And it is great that you're doing so well with working out..again, something I haven't quite gotten around to yet

For myself, well August didn't go as well as I would have liked, but not unhappy with it either. Here is my review of myself:

1. I only lost 1.5 pounds. I wanted to lose 5 or more. While, not thrilled, I am not unhappy either, as I lost an inch in my waist, a half inch in each thigh. I was able to fit into a pair of pants I had not been able to in a year, though need to pick up the pace on crunches as the pants create some love handles...UGH! But, I can zip them, where I couldn't a year ago. Plus a pair of shorts that I had not been able to wear for a year, are now starting to fit a little loose in areas. So this brings me happiness.

2. I have been very active with strength training, getting more definition in my arms and legs. There is a lot less jiggly going on in these areas and you can actually see muscle shapes taking form!! Though not happy with myself on the issue of crunches. I know I have been avoiding them and it is time to get serious about them. Also, the cardio is not picking up as much as I would like, though not a lack of desire, just a lack of balance.

3. I hope to pick up the pace on Cardio and crunches, while maintaining a good strength workout. I need to make up a schedule, though allowing for dizziness issues a little fluctuation, that I can follow and stick to it the best I can, maybe moving some things around during the week so everything gets done.

4. As for the sodium, well I kept it in check mostly. I did have a couple of days where I felt I went over a bit or pushed the high end of what I could eat, as it makes me very dizzy when I do this. But overall happy with how I managed the intake.

I am not unhappy with last month, though know I can do better and there is always room for improvement.

Happy Tuesday to everyone and welcome the month of September!

Ok, I will have to thank some members from another team for the inspiration for this challenge. They both had a wonderful blog reviewing their past month and preparing for the next one.

So the challenge is to look at the past month in a review and become aware of how you did. You will want to include the following:

1. How much you lost. You need not specify in numbers, just whether you met your goal or not and if you are happy with your results.

2. How active you were last month and your feelings towards it.

3. Are there any changes you would like to make for this month? What are they and how do you intend to accomplish them.

4. How did you do sodium intake wise? Is there room for improvement? How did it affect your health or weightloss?

By reviewing our past performances we are able to determine patterns that are either helpful and/or harmful in our goals to better health and better living. We can continue on with good patterns and we can improve upon what does not work for us. This is your chance to look back and figure out how your current plan of attack, so to speak, is working for you.

Feel free to list as much or as little as you want.

Have a Happy, Awareness, Tuesday!
