So what is kombucha and what is the health benefit of it? Do you have good links on nutrional value and recipes?

Fun! and let me know how the kombucha goes. I've poured it in a pitcher, added two flavored tea bags and left it overnight and then bottled it, with good results.

Ginger and lemon sounds yummy.

Today going to the gym for a kick-ass cardio class for 45 minute then she does weights for 15 and abs for another 15. You should see this woman - 53 and slender with muscles that I envy. If anyone is interested I asked her how she got her arms so toned. Her reply "When I go to the gym, I am focused" She apparently only does about 30 minutes of weight training and does not overload the machines (tricep pulldowns are 50 lbs) There is no flab on her arms at all!

It has been raining here so not likely to do anything outside but one of these days I want to get into trailrunning. I have a bad hip from a break back several years and not with my misalignment my opposite knee is bothering me. I have been running the track at the gym (inside) but I think that could be causing part of the problem as it is a hard surface. Ground is the easiest to run on so trails here I come - hopefully soon!

Tomorrow AM, bright and early, my training team has their kick off for the spring half marathon training. I have 2 races planned for April, so I'm looking forward to the group support.

I'm also planning to bottle my 1st batch of kombucha. Thinking of flavoring it w/lemon and ginger. Any suggestions?

And this weekend I have my first "resturant" experience for this Whole30, a birthday party, an all day event tomorrow, finishing the closet from last weekend, and finishing the work on a tree the winter storm killed.

I'm also doing a 5 mile run, and have a trip to the gym planned.

Sunday unless it rains I'm finding a state park and soaking up some nature.

What fun do you have planned?

Sue I found this! http://blog.stuffimakemyhusband.com/p/whol
e30-oamc-freezer-menu.html

I didn't get to do it last week, and this week crockpotted a giant pork roast and I think I will crock pot a chicken tonight and use those two for meats and get veggie ideas for her.

I am working very hard to keep at least two days of meals in the fridge/freezer, already cooked, no excuses. And it is working. I have a very busy schedule and don't want any excuse to slip up

Today, I'm cleaning out the living room closet, It had become a miscellaneous closet of doom. I also cleaned out my refrigerator/freezer and i'm going grocery shopping and doing "once a month cooking" later this weekend.
