This isn't coming together as fast as I'd hoped. We still haven't gone shopping for the week, but I have been researching plenty of info on Paleo and sharing some of that w/ my husband. I personally will be using Paleo as a template, but I don't plan to stick to it a 100%. I will eat some starches and grains, albeit gluten-free. But mostly Paleo. I will update on our progress.
I completely messed up tonight while celebrating my husbands birthday. We had an amazing strawberry cream cheese layer cake and I just ate it without having a second thought. So I'm starting over tomorrow,

How is everyone doing so far???? I have been sick with the flu, but have stayed Paleo!!! I did the Dr. Oz Detox smoothies for the past 3 days, so I am super excited to have "real" food again!!!! Anybody have resources for quick and easy Whole30 recipes that they want to share???
My husband and I are starting this weekend (coincides with payday). I've shared the Whole30 rules and he's on board. I will be making extra efforts to make sure he has healthy Whole30 lunches to take to work with him each day. This is exciting!

I did a 30 day-er back in Oct/Nov 2012, and lost 16 #! Felt better, too; less aches and pains. But Thanksgiving got me off and I continued to fall off thru the Christmas holidays. Now, I'm ready for another try. I will join those of you starting the first of Jan, 2013! Maybe we can support each other-especially thru the first week, which I found excruciatingly painful the first time round. Coming off Pepsi, sugars and carbs was awful! But well worth it! So, lets help each other!
I am glad to see some responses!!! I have been mostly Paleo since Thanksgiving, and have lost about 10 pounds. I am doing a race on the first, so might have some post-race refreshments, so will start on the 2nd. Should we just post here???
I am in--I plan to start on New Years Day. I have done Paleo 30 day challenge successfully 2.5 years ago and then did a couple of 3 week challenges, Whole30 is tougher than regular Paleo, so would love the opportunity to check in with some other participants!

I'll be finishing my first Whole30 on January 3rd, and was planning on doing a second one; expanding my menus and getting out of my food planning rut! Have you done one before? I treated my first one as a training tool - and feel like I still have a lot to learn.

I'm planning to start a Whole30, too, but I'm not planning to start quite that late. I had actually planned to start today, but I have a bad cold (my first in years!) and I don't want to rule out the therapeutic usage of raw honey for my cough. So I won't be stating until my cough is better. I'd be happy to buddy up, though, even if my start date is a bit earlier than yours.
