So, today's tally ... the usual morning routine, with half an Atkins (regular) shake;
3 brazil nuts, two leftover fajitas, again (just the meat, tortilla, and cheese with a piece of bacon in each), a small snack cup of Jell-O ™, and PowerAde. The meds go without mention, naturally.
I made it til dinnertime for my salad! I had half of a Waldorf premix, and it was yummy! I added extra mini carrots, some olives, and half a little picklepac of sweet gherkins to that. AND more PowerAde and meds. sigh
I'm pretty satisfied with my totals for the day. I knew those dang tortillas were going to do me in though! No more tortillas. I like the lettuce wraps just as well anyway.

NEVERGIVEUP!!
I used to love our weekend cooking marathons. You get so many opportunities to try new things and have quick and easy (and healthy) options for meals for a long time that you can pull out and heat up. We used to be able to have completely different menus but still eat together. Some days I wanted chicken, and he wanted beef. Some days we both were in seafood moods. It was great. I can't wait til I have enough room to to that again.
And how wonderful that you've been able to get past the sugar! That's such a challenge. What a relief to have it behind you, huh?!? I'm glad for you.

How's everyone doing with Challenge. Today is my Day#2 and love eating this way. I cooked 3 weeks worth food today so that i won't fall in to my old trap. I have been eating healthy and lots of veggies. I love veggies and meat i am starting to add more in my meals. First thing i noticed today is, i do not have sugar cravings.

Today's menu, such as it was ...
the usual half of a protein shake and meds for breakfast;
wasn't hungry at lunchtime;
a duplicate of the morning routine at dinnertime, plus a couple leftover fajitas that DH brought home yesterday. I like the onion and green pepper flavors, but not the items themselves, so I ditched those and just had the tortilla (I ended up tearing the tortilla in half to make the 2 wraps) and meat - one chicken and the other steak - to which I added a slice of bacon each, about 2 tablespoons of finely shredded mixed cheese, and some lettuce. Then my eye fell upon some 'shrooms I made a couple days ago (I've got the recipe shared - it's really good if you like mushrooms. Try it!), and a little sweet-treat of SF candies. I also ate a few brazil nuts. I bought too many when I went to the bulk-bin store, and DH doesn't especially love them, so I'm reaping that benefit. Plus, lastly, my usual PowerAde Zero drink. I drank the whole thing this time while I was watching today's talks on the Paleo Summit. It was good (the talks AND the drink! LOL)
Now I'm thirsty again and need to take my bedtime stuff, so I'm going for more PowerAde. Didn't do too badly in all departments today. I did pick up some bags of salad on sale, so I get to have a nice salad tomorrow. I'm eager. Might not make it to dinnertime for that one! haha

@NEVERGIVEUP -
I've been taking the Spirulina for about a month now. I can't remember what the original intent was - more than likely for the iodine. Any sort of nutraceutical is something that takes a while to show any change. I'm hoping it will supplement in the proper direction.
I always check with my endocrinologist when I add something, since I'm paying for his expertise! So far he's approved of the supplements I'm using. He prescribed some of the things, like the multivitamin and calcium and Vitamin D. Most of the others are things I've added based upon recommendations from various low-carb sites. Certainly I COULD be taking a lot more, but it already takes me quite a while to get through my "morning routine". If it's only a "possible" benefit, I'd just as soon forego.
I don't know if it's good or bad to put this stuff on my tracker. I'm hoping it will tally up so I know that I'm getting the recommended amounts! My doctor's recommendations ... not our government or nutritional experts' recommendations. That's an ongoing issue here. I still get "under target" or "over target" on my daily feedback, and from what I can tell I'm way high just on the supplements. Why I'm seeing "deficient" on the report is a mystery to me.

Okay ... I can hardly call this a "plan" ... but it's food for the day:
I started off with half an Atkins Daybreak shake. and meds.
I wasted half the day going to a medical appointment that they cancelled but didn't bother to let me know about, so I didn't have anything other than a little of my PowerAde Zero until just now.
Now I'm eating about 3 oz. of braunschweiger and Laughing Cow Swiss on some Ile de France crackers. Cheating, but it's not a terrible cheat: 26 g of carbs in my double-serving of those. And about 3 oz. of mixed nuts. And more of my PowerAde.
I'm not sure I'm going to get through it all. I'm not particularly hungry. But if I don't eat now it's going to be too late to eat. So I'm working at it.
I'm craving some salad, but I was so mad after the cancelled appointment that I didn't go to the grocery. Besides just not feeling up to it. I'm sure I'll be sorry later tonight or tomorrow at least!
My Nutrition tracker is shared. You're welcome to peruse.

I'm not sure how useful I'm going to be for a few days! I'm still moping around with the remainder of a flu. I'm game, tho.
