Cindy! I didn't disappear. Yes I am working on my grains as well. I find I really am drawn to corn probably because of the high sugar content as I am a sugar addict. I wish you the best! I miss our emails...

I think I am going to work on the insidious grains as well. I let some creep in again...corn and rice specifically. emoticon Not feeling well today after a rice tortilla.

No re accessing the net from my phone. LOL, I only use my cell phone to make and answer calls and I can't wait to have a land line again in our new house. By texting I meant the "heads-in-the sand zombies" who can't go anywhere without writing messages as they walk and heaven forbid drive. They are accidents waiting to happen.

I was disappointed to see the first challenge/contest required one to re tweet- Grok much be rolling over in his grave! Count me out for that- I hate text messaging of all sorts. My personal challenge for the next 30 days is to eliminate all grains and get at least 45 minutes of sustained cardio exercise daily. Today started off with a great woodland trail hike.

OK s really the only thing I have seen as far as rules is that you pretty much make your own. Work on what you want to work on and the MDA stuff is contests.

Definitely wish I could join, but I'm afraid living out of a hotel room for the next month puts a slight kink in this challenge. Looking forward to moving into a real place, and starting Paleo for real! :)

This challenge is a blast! My son and I enjoyed competing last year with each other and everyone on the contests and reading/seeing all the entries. We were fairly new to primal last year, and it was such a fun and well rounded way to get into the many aspects of primal life. Some contests have a one day window, some have a week or so, so try to check in every day. It makes meeting the personal challenges of going fully (or mostly) primal a lot of fun.

So I own a fitness bootcamp, and my partner and I both are paleo/primal and try to push our clients to do the same. We've loaned out the Primal Blueprint, have given out websites, I have even wrote out customized meal plans for some people.
We have decided to do a challenge of our own. It was of course loosely based off the MDA challenge. We challenged people to simply write down what they eat and drink.
My partner and I are actually taking it a step further and are going to go full primal.
I am going to be visiting family next week, so for the first few days of the challenge, so I am setting the goal of primal with the occasional beer (ok, ok, more like only a few each day. hey, we'll be camping and I am going to Montana! LOL).
Then it's time to get back to the basics, i plan to not have any alcohol except maybe a glass of red wine on the weekends.
I also plan to cut out dairy and nuts the last 2 weeks.

I hope everyone does well on this challenge!!

My gym is starting a 6 week challenge Monday. I'm really bad about checking web site and such, but I'll be doing the challenge. I'll book mark this thread and try to respond semi-often. :)

Each of is an athlete, some are just in training.
