I love pate" but don't eat much at a time. The frozen small packages will work just great. I wish I could say cucumber replaces crackers..but for me..not so much. I keep trying to find the perfect match of dip/spread with a veg. Any others in my boat?

Glad you found a way you like it. I like pate, but not liver pate, can't eat liver in any form.

This past weekend I made some chicken liver pate' while I was working on the laundry--yum! It was soooo good. This is the only way I can eat liver (and chicken liver is the only kind I can eat). I ate it on cucumber slices in lieu of crackers, and it was wonderful! I put the remainder out in little batches, wrapped it in plastic wrap, then in foil and froze it so whenever I want a little taste all I have to do is thaw some out. It feels so decadent to eat pate' and know it's perfectly paleo--lol!
