I know here in TX we prefer the beefy stuff. NO BEANS ALLOWED!

(With that said I make a meatless chili w/beans and butternut squash occasionally.)

I prefer the meaty stuff best!

Chili! A really dense, meaty one with good beef, beef broth, peppers, tomatoes, and maybe some carrots. No beans! From what I've heard (and this is only hearsay, but maybe someone else knows better), the award-winning chilis don't use beans ever, anyway.

I am also a big fan of stew with tons of veggies. Yum!

Stew of any kind- lots of root veggies, meat and herbs for seasoning.

Well, now that the weather is, at least for some of us, turning downright cold, I thought it might be fun to post our favorite cold-weather comfort food, Paleo Style!

I love to make a chicken soup with veggies, and then put it over mashed cauliflower - if I roast the cauliflower first it tastes almost buttery!

What about you?
