Hi there. Well winter is certainly here this week. We have had lots of intermittant showers, so that should bring the weeds on just fine. Makes going for a walk outside not so pleasant though. I have been doing dvds at home.
How is everyone else going??

Hi Anne I am like you and love my pasta. I have had a week where I have had a craving for my carbs so have had one or two slices of bread a day and also some potato and pasta. Now I am back on track this week.

My doctor and also naturopath both told me to aim to eat about 120gms of protein a day, I don't generally manage to get that high but definitely aim for about 60-70 gms. For someone your size you would only need to aim for about the 60-90gms. Apparently it goes on your weight which is why I am meant to have at least 120gms.

I am still eating about the same amount of calories as I have always eaten, just higher protein and lower carbs so go figure.

Is it cold enough for you lately? I am freezing.

That is a fantastic weight loss you have done very well.

What do you have to do with this diet might give it a try myself as I am going no where the only trouble is I love pasta. I don't eat white potato hardly at all, sweet potato mainly. I also don't eat a lot of bread.

Glad you are back on line. I had my computer die last year and you do miss it. Luckily my 8 year old Grand Daughter had her own lap top so borrowed that for the 6 weeks I had mine in getting fixed.

I am trying a few things to see if we can fire up the Adelaide Sparks, things been very slow, I have a challenge happening with a small WA team to see who gets the most points on the leader board at the end of the month, sounds fun hey.

Well I haven't had my computer for the past couple of weeks, my hard drive died on me. Now it is back up and running I have to get back into the swing of things and start to log my foods etc again.

I realised the other day that I only have to lose another 200 gms and I will have lost 15kgs since last January and almost 10 of those kilograms is since February this year. It is amazing how a simple thing like going to a high protein diet and cutting out the carbohydrates can do. I want to try to do some exercise to increase the the losses but after walking at work for 5 hours a day my knee is always so swollen and sore that I haven't been doing anything more...unfortunately.

Well I am so pleased to be back onboard.
