Hi Anne I am like you and love my pasta. I have had a week where I have had a craving for my carbs so have had one or two slices of bread a day and also some potato and pasta. Now I am back on track this week.
My doctor and also naturopath both told me to aim to eat about 120gms of protein a day, I don't generally manage to get that high but definitely aim for about 60-70 gms. For someone your size you would only need to aim for about the 60-90gms. Apparently it goes on your weight which is why I am meant to have at least 120gms.
I am still eating about the same amount of calories as I have always eaten, just higher protein and lower carbs so go figure.
Is it cold enough for you lately? I am freezing.
