I got out there and ran a 10K for the very first time. Took my own route for one of the Virtual Races they are doing on SparkPeople. Very challenging to run for that long, but now I know I can do it.

This week, lets enjoy the lovely weather this time of year brings!

Outside of any workouts you are doing on your Wii, Xbox or PlayStation take a few moments to smell the roses. Do 15 minutes of activity outside of your game system. Whether that be walking to the corner to get the mail, taking the stairs instead of the elevator(scary thought), or playing outside with your kids on the playground. The sky is the limit! Remember it'll be cold soon, so lets enjoy the weather while we can.
