I'm not a morning person either per se but after a year and a half of getting up early to workout I find I really like starting my days this way. When I was taking evening ballet classes 2-3 times a week that was fine, but now that I'm not doing that I need to guarantee my workouts. So this works for me.

Yes, fewer reps is basically the difference. I noticed in "more workouts" that on the easy level there were no leg raises, however, in the ab exercises. When I was doing the easy level I was getting in a fair amount of strength training and then following up with an extra ten minutes or so of cardio on my own.

Congrats on the hockey win!

I workout at night. I am so not a morning person. LOL I come home, have supper, watch General Hospital till 6 and then downstairs I go. I find lately I am working out until 8 or later which doesn't leave a lot of time for cleaning up, homework and time with the hubby and kids. What is the difference with easy and medium? I have always jumped right into Hard for all the EA Active games. I'm a glutton for punishment. LOL Are they the same exercises just less reps?

Rest Day today. Back from my son's hockey game. Which he won so we are off to the finals!

emoticon Michelle! emoticon That is awesome!!

Aries, thanks for that perspective. I have a finite amount of time to work out in the mornings, which is one reason I've chosen the easy and medium levels in the past. I could move to the hard level but I don't have enough time unless I get up at 4:30 or 4:45 am (which I've started doing lately, but that's a whole other post...).

I finished the 9-week challenge yesterday :) The last workout wasn't too bad. It was exciting to see the the trophies on the tv screen for completing the challenge and getting perfect attendance.

This is the best Wii fitness game I have done (and believe I have tried all of them :)) My body feels so much more fit. I can't believe I can do the things I can do now. It feels good to be my size and still be able to do things people smaller than me can't. It feels good to squat, lunge, run and do core exercises :)

I am going to take a break from doing another challenge and head to the gym and my zumba classes. Maybe I will start up the Active 2 again this summer.

Burned 245.8 calories in 29:43 minutes.

Wednesday
Burned 213.4 calories in 39:46 minutes.

Thursday
Burned 246.8 calories in 29:55 minutes.

Today is usually a rest day but tomorrow my son has a playoff game and I had today off of work anyway so I did my workout today. Burned 226 calories in 41:02 minutes.
It was the first workout for Phase 3. I was looking forward to this Phase as I had looked at my EASA 2 calendar and the workouts were around 29-32 minutes. Down from the 35-40 minutes in Phase 2. Well the calendar is wrong. Not sure if anyone else's is but mine is way off. The Phase 3 workouts are 45-50 minutes. Which means with the slow loading of the exercises they are 55-60 minutes. I really enjoy EASA 2 but I think the workouts are a tad too long. I do a 30 minute run every day too and I sometimes do an upper arm workout after my EASA 2 workout as well. I like being healthy and staying in shape but not sure if I want to give up all my free time either. I think I may go back to More Workouts after my 9 week challenge is over. Just to give myself a break so I can get some other things done and then do another 9 week challenge after that. Although I like the EASA 2 exercises better so maybe I will just take out some of the exercises and shorten them up a bit.

Great job Michelle - you're so close!!

A migraine kept me away from EASA today - can't jump or do intense exercise. So I did 30 minutes of easy walking just to get moving a little bit.

Workout 36/36 (medium) - Last day of the EASA 2 9 week challenge!!!
Calories burned - 226
Time: 47 minutes

I really liked this last workout. It was challenging with 3 sets of mountain climbers, jumping lunges and mountain boarding. But this workout contained foot fires (my fav) instead of stride jumps. Made me realize how tiring stride jumps really are!!

Will take a few days off of EASA 2 and start a 2nd 9 week challenge on the hard intensity.
