Glad to hear things are moving upward.

Since we have nice weather at the moment I'm walking to work. It is one and a quarter miles with a hill at the beginning and then down hill and then flat with just a touch of uphill near the end. Going to do this for a couple of weeks and then if all is well walk to and from work. Need to do something besides sitting at home.

Thanks NeedsHelp, he is doing much better. The surgeon has given him the ok to go back to work so we are thankful for that because we rely on his income to pay 90% of our bills. We are now getting caught up and he is healing quickly thank God!

So, my husband had surgery today and things were REALLY crazy around here. My healthy eating took a backseat to making sure he was ok, so we ate out twice today. Fortunately I made fairly good choices and only went over calories by about 180 calories. Im about to go workout now and hopefully tomorrow's weigh-in wont be too bad! I hope everyone else is doing well and meeting goals!

Thanks Needshelp! I'm feeling much better. I got some meds (found out I had strep) and since they started working I feel great. Hoping to get back to my workouts this week. Didn't do anything last week. Sorry to hear your daughter had to leave. That really stinks. I hate it when my brother has to leave after a visit. Hopefully she can visit again soon!

Did anyone watch the Super Bowl? I'm not a huge fan so I watched Angel on Netflix instead, but I hope all of you had a great weekend and you enjoyed whatever you did!

So sorry to hear you are (were) sick. Hoping things are better now.

I took half of a day off from work because of feeling crappy. Will be back to work tomorrow.

My daughter came in from Utah for a couple of days. She had to go back. Missing her so much.

Going for a walk in a few minutes. That usually makes me feel better. :)

Sorry it took me so long to reply! Needshelp, I hope you enjoyed the play!

I'm hoping for a nice quiet day today. Yesterday I had my first migraine and I'm still not feeling well. On top of the pain from the migraine I think I got the tonsil infection my son had last week. I haven't been able to swallow at all since yesterday morning. In the last 24hours I've had one can of 7 UP. Feeling really icky and hoping this gets better soon!

Things have been a little hectic at work but getting through it. It will all turn out okay after I figure a few things out.

Going to go to a school play my granddaughter is in. My daughter will be picking me up and our hubbies will be meeting us there.

I hear a storm is coming in. :( I was suppose to go out of town tomorrow but not sure if that is going to happen now. We'll see what it looks like in the morning.

Its Monday, I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Mine was busy, fun, and a little over-indulgent! Husband and I went to Fort Collins to look at some manufactured homes we are considering buying in the next couple years. He took me out to lunch and we had a wonderful day together. We should have just stayed in town though because the house we really LOVE is sold by company here in Cheyenne! After that we went to my in-laws house for dinner and cards. Between lunch out and dinner and snacks at in-laws I went over my calories, but not by too much so I was happy with that. Overall, it was a great weekend and I can't wait to save the money so we can buy the house that we have both absolutely fallen in love with!

Good start with the fruit!!!

Instead of the elevator we are taking the stairs to the third floor where we live. A little hard after seven hours of work.

Beautiful weather. Would be totally awesome if it lasted all winter.

Totally had a high calorie day, but sure enjoyed having lunch with our friends and helping one of them celebrate her 50th birthday. Then my husband took me out for supper so I didn't have to cook all day, cause we had fruit for breakfast.

Sorry to hear about the work load. It stinks when they give you more without thinking about things further down the road. Hopefully they will have someone who can help you or will at least be understanding when you can't get every little thing done. Good luck with that! And YAY for having a wonderful husband who is so helpful! What a great guy! Good job on the walking/stair climbing!

Ok, I know I just replied here but I have to reply again.

I'm taking on the slogan from the Biggest Loser: NO EXCUSES!!!

My body hurts, my head hurts, my arms hurt but not my legs. I just walked our building twice. There are three floors and a set of stairs at each end. Felt so much better after that was done. Even climbing the last flight of stairs was no problem!!! :)

They just increased my work load at work. This is fine for now for what I have to do usually is less because of the time of year it is. But when spring comes that part goes up and I'm sure they will want me to continue the extra work. So in turn I've been stressed. Stress always fines a different place on my body to affect it. This time it is a kink in my shoulder blade area which causes my neck, shoulder, and back of arm to be very sore. Cried at the grocery store because I couldn't pick up a lousy package of meat with either hand. Hubby was great though and did everything for me that I needed done. Even massaged the sore area. Resting so I can work tomorrow (use my arms all day).

Everything is okay just had to spit it out there. Thanks for listening. :)

Sorry its harder than you thought! I completely understand. My husband was in the Navy for 5 years on submarines and it was SO hard not being able to see or talk to him. The first week he was gone, when he went to boot camp, I was a wreck. I missed his one and only phone call that week because my cell had no reception where I was at and I broke down. It was awful! Try to stay busy and spend time with friends/family you don't see very often. That might help the time go by faster!

My BF is out of town this week. We have been together for two years. I was always a very independent self-sufficient woman, especially when I lived in Wyoming on my own. But now I am finding, I really don't like him being gone or alone. The funny thing is that he lives about 45 minutes away so we usually only see each other on the weekends and maybe once during the week with our busy schedules, but we do talk on the phone several times a day. He is at a conference for week so our phone schedule is off too. I am surprised at how much I miss him because I thought I was looking forward to some alone time. Apparently not. :) Oh well, I have found projects of decluttering the house and running trails this weekend with a friend to keep me busy. Other than that, not much.

There isn't much talk going on in our group so I thought I would try to start up a conversation! What's going on in your life? How have you been? What things have you accomplished that are NOT weight related lately? Even if its something as simple as getting your laundry done...I want to know what everyone has been up to.

My life has been very eventful today...my kitchen sink wouldn't drain and I didn't know this until AFTER I hooked up the dishwasher and flooded my kitchen!! OOPS! But thankfully my wonderful husband got it fixed as soon as he got home. Other than that, I got laundry done and cleaned both kids rooms today. Still have the rest of the house to clean, but its a start!
