We all know that the shimmies are an everyday thing for me. And, I'm beginning to like the stability ball. For the first 24 hrs, I was so sore I couldn't move!

Me, either. I got some swimming and weight lifting in.Today I did crunches with weights. Some Bi-cep and Tricep moves. I will join you in that goal. Hmmm, gives me idea for a Challenge until I post a new challenge on Sunday.

Confused yet, Lol! I'll post it in a sec.

Well Ladies, I have to admit that I didn't do everything for the challenge. I did the shimmys for four days and didn't do any of the bicycle crunches. My schedule is so hectic that some of the days I completely forgot about doing it. One of my goals for the new year is to make time to be active with the group/s and complete the challenges.


~Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.~

Yay!! Sore can actually be a good feeling when you know it's a sign of progress (am I convincing myself yet????)

Managed an hour of shimmies to part of a Bollywood movie tonight. Sat on my stability ball for the other part. DH thinks I'm nuts and wants to know what I'm going to do with the ball. I'm not sure it's tall enough to replace my computer chair.

Yesterday I did heavy cleaning for about 3 hrs. I really made some progress on the house and it just feels better. I still have more to do, lots of stuff to give away and throw away. I did my shimmies to Christmas music again.
Today I actually put in a DVD and did some drills. I am feeling pretty good, a little sore but good.

Sounds like your exercise time today was great. I envy you the pool. That's always been one of my favorite activities.

Got some DDR time with Babycakes today and had that dance class here. All-in-all not a bad exercise day.

I hope your couch is comfy. Over did it w/ exercise in the pool.

Patti, do you want a couple kids?? I have a fat lip from them hitting me with a Noodle. emoticon Oh, yeah. It was time to go!

Bellyrolls in the pool, used water dumb bells and bar bells. Ran from the kids who were trying to kill the Shark. Yeah! Guess, who the Shark was? No, Sharks better come around them. Those kids are crazy emoticon

Got in more than 2 hours worth of exercise. Was in the Jacuzzi very little. Hubby, is joining with me tomorrow. emoticon I used to be too intimidated and shy to exercise while around others in the pool. Used to drag the towel with me all the way to the side of the pool and then drop it and jump in real quick. It's nice not to feel that way anymore!

LETS GO TEAM! Lets get push ourselves in to the New Year! 2008 will be GREAT!!!

Did DDR for half an hour with the kiddo - he kicks my butt! My legs are tooo shooorrrrt! Have a dance class here tonight to work on Don, then bed and back to work tomorrow. I DON'T WANNA GOOOOOOOO!!!

Sounds like you did great F.Silvi! I am going swimming today. Just got a new bathing suit. Old one was far too big. Okay, so that is my exercise for this afternoon. Swimming and trying to keep 2 kids from tearing each others heads off. Will check back in later.

I didn't prepare many sweets this year. My dessert was sweet potatoes (yams), lightly sweetened not candied. The only cake I made was pumpkin bread and I gave half to a friend. If figured no need to have it around to tempt me. Anyway I am extremely motivated to continue my healthy habits into the new year and let go of the excess weight.

We both do! I find it too crazy that you & I were at the same starting weight at one time. I was 157 in February and our weight is now just a pound or 2 different. There have been no disasters yet and we both are on vacation. Hmm, that is no fun. Be over soon to sleep on your couch and have left overs, Lol! It is 5 a.m. I do have to go into work for an hour or so today. It wll be fine.

Happy Holidays Sparkling Sisters!
Lets try to do some Hip drops (2 minutes each side) We all LOVE bicycle crunches (gotta love sarcasm) I am setting a goal of 100 each day for myself. How many can you do?? Lets do some Santa shimmies.

Put on your favorite Holiday music, or if you do not celebrate, put on your favorite fun music and have some fun dancing and burning away those extra calories.

Share and motivate the rest of us and share what kinda of exercises you have been doing lately. What food are you NOT going to be eating this year because you have decided it is not worth the extra calories?

I will not be eating alot of sweets at all. Maybe, a small piece of cake. But only if it is chocolate. I read that dark chocolate is good for trimming the tummy.
