salad, made with romain lettuce and leafy green lettuce (4 cups), 1/2 cup dried cranberries, 1 cup of tomatoes, 2 oz chicken, .5oz slivered almonds, .5 oz fontina cheese, 4tbls wonton salad toppers, 1tbls olive oil and red wine vinegar dressing, and 2 tbls red wine vinegar. Yummmy. And way filling!

This afternoon, I have a Veggie Burger, saulte onions, peppers, mushroom, Whole wheat bun, and salad--tomato, lettuce, cucumber.

Okay, here's the deal... DH took me to the bar for lunch. I had an awesome salad... mixed greens, grilled chicken, cheese, ranch dressing (dipped my fork in, didn't pour it on), and tomatoes. Oh, they also served 1/2 slice of flatbread and croutons on it. I drank water. Good for me! And it was filling and delicious... and I DID leave a little on my plate!

Amazing authentic Mexican steak tacos... that low sugar cake I made this morning, and chips and a cookie. I didn't pack today and I didn't come home because that guy was bringing lunch. I'll do better tomorrow for sure!

I had Chili's for lunch yesterday, a Cajun Chicken Sandwich, I LOVE those things and only get to eat them about once every three or four months because DH will NOT go there. My boss had a vendor in and they invited me along.

Lunch today was all over the place. I didn't have anything planned since I ran out of frozen proteins (chicken, fish and beef). I'm out of beans and PBJ didn't sound good. So I ran home and quickly whipped up some tacos with the leftover meats from other meals this week. I ended up making 1 salmon taco and 1 beef taco with some of the home made pico de gallo I made on Friday just to get rid of that.

It was gooood! Little high on the calories though coming in at 512 total...ouch!

My whole lunch was like $3. Just make big batches of stuff and then you don't have to suffer the sodium or good eats for something that's healthy and easy.

I tend to usually have a frozen meal for lunch. Yes its high in sodium but its also quick, easy, point friendly and cheap (i buy them on sale so its $2 for lunch rather than $10-12 for ordering out).
