March Determination Challenge
Continuing with our monthly challenge!
Our challenges are simple. No points to track, no team members, etc. All you do is track pounds lost and/or your fitness minutes!
At the end of the month “goodies” will be given to the biggest looser the member with the most fitness minutes!
I will use the post to this thread for the pounds lost! For the fitness minutes I will use the team goal on the team home page! It automatically has all the members in it, and the winner will be selected based upon them signing up for the challenge in this thread!
This challenge will begin on March 1st, and run through March 31, 2011.
To get started in this challenge please:
1.) Decide on your goals for February, and either post them on your Sparkpage or in your blog! Be sure to update your SparkPage if your previous months goals are on it!!
2.) Post your information by replying this thread; here is an example. NOTE: You will EDIT THIS WEEKLY instead of creating a new thread!

This way I know you have signed up for the challenge when I go to the team fitness minutes to find the winners for the month.
You DO NOT HAVE to post fitness minutes in this thread, you just need to enter them into your Fitness section of SparkPeople.
You will weigh in on Monday’s for this challenge, I know some team members are on a no-scale challenge, if this applies to you, please at least post a starting weight on the first day of the month, and an ending weight on the last day of the month. I understand that you do not want to be a slave to the scale, so we are NOT requiring weekly weigh-ins.
When posting your weekly weight (for those that will) you can also post your BMI, which can be calculated at www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/ , this is just another tool to see how you are doing.
It is encouraged that each participate go to other team member pages and look at their goals for this challenge and help keep them accountable by either posting on their sparkpage, or on the daily chat thread!
The best way to make this challenge work for you is to set your goal(s) and post them everywhere! Make a commitment to yourself to complete this challenge! No giving up!
Visualize yourself completing this challenge; how you will feel once you complete it!
If you haven’t already, add your location to the team map, add the team goals.
Make sure that you have an exercise plan, and while you are planning, plan your meals – be prepared anything!
Always remember that we are all DETERMINED to meet our goals, and we will help each other be ACCOUNTABLE for reaching those goals!
