The holiday season is gearing up, and it will be in full swing before we know it.
Next week is Halloween, with candy, parties, and treats everywhere. Then it's Thanksgiving, with all the turkey, gravy, pies, etc, and the days of leftovers that go along with it. Then December - cookie exchanges, office parties, other parties, Hanukkah (the only EIGHT day holiday I know of dedicated to frying stuff in oil!!!), Christmas, New Year's . . . am I missing anything? Probably!
The point is, we need a strategy to make it through the temptation and busy times that can throw us off track. Here's the plan:
1 time per week: Blog about your progress. I'll post a prompt, which you can address if you need a starting point.
3 times per week: check in with a team member. Comment on their blog or their Sparkpage, or send them a virtual goodie with a motivational note. We're in this together!
As applicable: Log your fitness minutes and food. Stay active! Don't let the dark and cold that is creeping ever closer keep you from your goals.
