Thanks for the reply! You give me hope! YES! I agree about the wrists. Mine hurt the most during the table top things and my hands hurt from the weight on the dumbells during the renegade rows. I've been trying to push the weight more on my feet and that seems to help.
Thanks for the suggestion about shifting position in plank. Great idea! I will try that tomorrow. I'm going to finish out this week (which will be my 2nd week of week 2) and move on to week 3. I'm trying to make it through all the levels and then I'll start switching things up again.
I love the Jillian videos but, yeah, she makes me crazy sometimes!
I have been doing RI 30 on and off for the past few months. I don't religiously follow the plan, but what I do is incorporate the DVD into my workout routine to (a) keep things interesting and (b) just do some of RI30 whenever I feel like it!
My favourites are levels 2 and 3 and I do them back to back to make an hour long workout.
For me, level 2 is the hardest of all the levels, even harder than level 4 in some ways.
I agree about the plank cardio interval - 2 minutes in plank while doing cardio at the same time - it could only be Jillian!
I don't struggle with my arms as such, but it's more my wrists. They start to hurt about 1/2 way through the 2 minutes, but I find if I just shift my positioning slightly - say turn my hands inwards an inch or two - then that moves the weight on my wrists and I'm able to easily complete the interval. Like you, I don't find the actual cardio element hard, but it's more the pressure on my wrists.
And as for crow push ups - well, let's just say when I first tried them I thought I'd never be able to do them, but now a few months on they are much easier and I can really feel the strength in my core has built up over time.
Keep it up - it's great fun even if you do end up wanting to kill JM at the end of it!

I started level 2 of the Ripped in 30 series this week and have been really struggling. The planks and the crow pushups in particular are killing me. I can't stay in plank the full 2 minutes. It's not the cardio that is killing me, it's my arms. They are such weaklings! I know I will get better with time, but I think I'll be spending more than this week on level 2.
Crow pushups - I'm doing a couple regular and then back on my knees for the rest. I usually wimp out before the 30 seconds are up. Again it's my arms. I better be buff after this level! :)
Anyone else doing Ripped in 30 right now?
