GAIAM customer service has been fantastic to work with. Anytime I've had a problem, I've just called and they solve it, so far free of charge. Maybe if your friend calls, since she's the one that bought it, they'd send her a new one. But the fitness guide is really NOT a big deal.
When your friend gave it to you, did she put the Discs in something else? Because the discs came in 3 folders, Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3. The rotation calendar just reads… Week 1: Mon Workout 1, Tues: Workout 2, Wed, Cardio 1, Thursday, Workout 1, Friday: Workout 2, Sat: Cardio 1, Sun Rest. WEEK 2 is exactly the same, Weeks 3 & 4, you use workouts 3 & 4 and cardio 1. Then phase 2 is the same using workouts 5 & 6 and cardio 2, for weeks 5 & 6 and workouts 7 & 8 and cardio 2 for weeks 7 & 8. Phase three is the same thing with workouts 9 & 10 and Cardio 3 for weeks 9 & 10, and workouts 11 & 12 and cardio 3 for weeks 11 & 12.
Her Kick Start week, just tells you to do an A.M. and P.M workout. The EXTRA workout for the day, is a Cardio session.
Hopefully your friend lent you her food plan. Because that's a lot more important.
