I just finished week 2 (5 days of week 1, 6 days of week 2, 1-2 rest days per week mixed in there) and I am kind of sad to see it go. The first day kicked my butt, but today was enjoyable...I had planned to start week 3, but I wasn't ready to say goodbye yet. These scary comments about week 3 have me intrigued (or scared? haha), wish me luck tomorrow! :)

Whew! So I took the plunge and did Week 4 this morning. I used only 3 lb weights and did the beginner modifications for many of the exercises, but I GOT THROUGH IT!! And while it was very tough, it was manageable since I'd just spent 2 weeks digging in hard on Week 3. I'm going to take my time with this one, finessing it until I can do it like a bada** for real :D I can tell that the past 6 weeks have made me much stronger, though; I did the "chaturanga pushups" on my knees and made it all the way through each set, something I'm positive I wouldn't have been able to do when I started Ripped in 30. (In fact, I think it was that 3rd-circuit wicked strength set in Week 3 that made those possible!)

Hurrah!! I can do this!! :D

@DANCING I can't get through that last strength circuit to save my life! By the time we get to the tricep dips my tris are burning so bad that I can only do 2 or 3 before I fall to the floor :/

I've made it through 2 weeks of the Week 3 workout (completing it 4x per week.) I'm beginning to notice increased strength and definition in my arms and shoulders. Technically I should be moving on to Week 4 if I stick with my current track (two weeks of each "Week") but I'm not sure if I might want to do Week 3 for one more week...it's still pretty hard to get through! I'll see how ambitious I'm feeling on Monday morning, when I'm planning to do Week 4 for the first time.

Today is my last day of week one and then I start week two tomorrow. I have been getting stronger as the days go by but I gotta say, I HATE the running man :/ . Every time he comes up I just say 'OH no!' The first few times, I couldn't even finish the second set of them but the last two times I did them, I was able to push myself and do the running man for 30 seconds both times! So I'm very happy with that. Already a little sore, but I am excited about all the ab work to come in week 2.

I just started today! I'm thinking of making a check-in thread, so anyone who wants to...please, come check in :) Misery loves company, and Jillian definitely knows how to challenge us....

Did Week 3 for the first time yesterday, and WOW am I SORE! My back, shoulders, triceps, quads and hamstrings are all feelin' it big time today. I was supposed to do it again today to keep with the schedule I had for myself this week, but I feel like I need another day to recover. Going from 1 to 2 was definitely easier than going from 2 to 3.

I just started Ripped yesterday. I had 30 Day Shred that I loaned to a friend so we can simultaneously do 30 day programs to keep each other accountable. I admit I have been very, very bad about working out for over a year, as in I basically haven't worked out. So Ripped day one was exhausting and torturous. I hope it will get better over time, I remember Shred did when I did it a long time ago. Though I despised Level 2 in Shred. Anyway, I don't have any particular eating plan in place, I'm a vegetarian so it often complicates diets since most seem to lean heavily on meats and I'm not really a grocery shopping/cooking type. I'm more of a scavenger, which I know, I know is bad and 80% of weight loss is based on nutrition and blah blah. Listen, I'm just getting back into exercising. Give me a break. I'll try to watch what I eat and that's all I can promise for now.

I'm doing Ripped in 30, but "dragged out" a bit: I'm spending two weeks with each level, working out four times weekly (so a total of 8 times of each level.) Within those 8 times I'm making an effort to transition from the beginner modifications of the moves to the advanced, and move from 3 lb. weights to 5 lb.

Tomorrow starts my fourth week, aka Week 2 of Week 2! I find that I like level 2 better than level 1, even though I hate plank position. Wish me luck! :D

I just started again! I was happy with the results the first time and need to get back into shape. I also am thinking about spending a few extra days on each weekly workout.

I've just completed week 2 day 3. Week 2 is a killer for me! I'm aching like mad but that's a good thing because it means i'm getting stronger and more toned. As Jillian says at one point, you have to be uncomfortable to see changes, and boy is she making sure of that!

I actually prefer Ripped in 30 as there are no repeat exercises so you know that once you finish a week you are not going to see those exercises again. I like the challenge of trying to master each week's new exercises (which is extremely difficult!)

I just started the Ripped in 30 video series today. I was hoping others might be starting out on that one as well. I'm not sure I will be doing it in 30 days though. I was considering spending a couple weeks on each "week" because I have taken a few weeks off exercise and want to ease back into it.

Just curious if anybody else is working on this one. If you have already completed the program, how did it go?
