I have this and have not used it yet. I am sure it is good, all biggest loser dvd's have been good, imo.

I have them all practically. I don't know about this 30 lbs lost in 6 weeks, maybe 12-15. 30 pounds if you start super obese, but not it you are just overweight or closer to goal.

That bothers me about Jillian and the franchise, they promise these huge losses and that is not true for 99% of the people actually using the DVD's. Expect 12-15 if you eat right, consistently do this workout and throw in other dvd's too...with 2 workouts a day.

I should try this one soon. I just started Ripped in 30 today. Don't exepect more than 8 lb loss during this month.

Good luck R-Chelle! I haven't tried Jump Start but have discovered other Biggest Loser DVDs I like also. Last Chance and Boot Camp are my two favorite right now!

Today I did 30DS Level 3 and then the Last Chance Workout - it made me laugh how easy the jumping jacks were after having to use weights with jack in level 3.
Sorry thats kinda off topic just wonder if anyone else had a similar experience!

I am really enjoying the Last chance workout I like it better than 30 day shred. 30DS totally wipes me out this one I am feel I am more at my own pace.

SANDSTRA-I too hate that you can not skip through the intros in 30DS! With Last Chance, on my DVD player I am unable to skip through the first warning, then the Lionsgate intro and one more warning. But once that is done and Jillian appears on screen to talk, I can either skip or hit menu to bypass and start picking my workout! Hope that helps!

I have a persnickity question about the Last Chance Workout DVD. I am thinking of buying it, but am annoyed by 30 day shred's unskippable intros and menu-scheme. I actually can't play 30DS at all on my dvd player because I've lost the remote and there is no directional key on my player's front. Of the many dvds that I have, 30DS the only one that I have this issue with. sorry for the rant...on to my question:

Does Last Chance Workout have unskippable intros that play every time the dvd is started?

Sarah, I have a HRM. But before that I would track under circuit training.

It is a tough workout, more tough when you do the whole thing! I did it today and everytime I am exhausted afterwards...the lower body sculpt is a toughie. I guess because I am so tired at the end....but I still love it though!

My abs aren't sore after the workout or next day. I was thinking about that on previous days. Does anyone feel it in their abs/obliques?

Today I did the upper and lower body workouts - still sweating! I like this video - maybe I'll learn to like to workout now! Ha!
@caribbean-girl I did just the workout yesterday plus the warmup and cooldown.

I am definitely seeing results with this DVD. My abs are getting more defined, however there still is a pooch covering most of my lower abs, but that will come off. I feel stronger. When I started it, I could barely do the mountain climbers, but now I can get all the way through. I just love this DVD.

I did the whole DVD the other day. I did warm-up, last change workout, upper and lower body sculpt and cool-down. The total time was 1 hour 30 seconds.

I just LOVED it! That hour went by so fast! I burned 604 calories! I LOVE IT! I plan to do that at least once a week combined with her other DVDs. But I must say, this is my favorite of Jillian's so far!

I love Last Chance Workout- and one of the things that I find encouraging about is that Danny- who won last season- is still overweight in the video. So it's nice to see that these are the kinds of things he did to get the weight off...and its always encouraging to see results like that. :)

Jillian does a great job of motivating you during the DVD. She really encourages you to push yourself. I am following the M-Sat regime. It combines the cardio with the weight lifting. I am on the 4th week now. Good luck and keep me posted.

DIALYSISRN, glad to hear you are having great results. (And you are recovered from the swine flu) I have only did the Last Chance workout once but can't wait to do it again. (I also do other Jillian's DVDs) I just spoke with my friend who said she tried all the workouts together and LOVES it! Have you done that yet? I am going to give it a try either today or tomorrow and I am looking forward to it! I will let you know!

Caribbean girl;
I just love the Last Chance Workout, I am finally losing weight! It is tough, but my body is adapting, and each time they get easier. It still makes me sweat! I had to take almost a month off d/t having the swine flu, but all better now. Lost 3/4 inch off my waist with diet and this DVD. Go for it!!

AHOWARD, in my honest opinion, BFBM is harder. That is strict cardio. BFBM is 40 minutes of non-stop cardio. Last Chance workout is about 38 minutes total. I think the workout itself is around 30 minutes. It is circuit training. I tried it yesterday for the first time and I loved it! LOVED it! I like the variety. It is 30 seconds cardio, 30 seconds weights, etc. There are 7 circuits but each exercise is just one time. It was actually fun! I didn't do the lower body or upper body scuplt yet. Hope this helps. emoticon

Just finished my first Last Chance Workout. It sure is a challenge. I am not sure how many calories I burned, though. The fitness tracker says 412, is that correct? I have a hr monitor watch, but did'nt set it right, so I could'nt get a calorie reading. I just know that I was working in my target heart rate range. I will make sure it works tomorrow so I can have a better idea how many cals I am burning.
Thanks for the support!

Hi all;
I would like to invite everyone to follow along with The Last Chance Workout by Jillian. I am starting this today with the hopes that I can lose the 30 lbs in 6 weeks like it says on the front cover of the DVD.
I welcome anyone else doing this program to post your results, concerns, questions here. Good luck!!
