i read the article about how diet soda is good for you after all - better than tap water - evidently it helps to lose 5% more weight than tap water does.
I was surprised because recently had had gone off diet soda's - if only due to the acid damage to my teeth enamel and the bloating weight gain from the carbonation. I was over diet soda.
i was mildly disbelieving the article as i read it - claiming to show scientific evidence that diet soda is good for one's health.
thank goodness for my scepticism - the author came from the American beverage association - and while that disclosure is nice and ethical - he is in the business of selling diet soda - so of course he will see data that points to 5% more loss with diet soda and better weight loss maintenance with diet soda drinking. It's his job.
so i took the SP points for reading the article but i'm staying and struggling with the daily drinking mostly plain water and less caffeinated beverages problems.
except for once in a while
and i switched to tea also, for now.
