The quality is fine, but be aware that you are playing an "old/analog" format on a newer dvd and probably an HD tv. I updated to dvds and the leaders look "fuzzy/blurry". But, I love the convience of dvd versus vhs.

I was thinking about changing over to the dvds for the classic Firm workouts. How is the quality of the dvds? And, do you know if they have the 20 Questions About Fitness piece?

You could probably buy a lot of the older equipment on Ebay. I've seen several items listed in the past. I'm assuming once they quit manufacturing certain items they just sold their stock out.

I'm bummed that I missed the Transfirmer days. I do have the BSS1 box which I will probably keep forever.

Wouldn't it be great if they could sell all of these discontinued systems as "retro" fitness? I think someone would make a LOT of money. Jane Fonda came back...why not The Firm?

I was able to purchase the older Firm DVDs at http://www.fitnessfavorites.com...I hope that this helps you.

You should never judge a book by its cover.

Love my Firm tapes---I have just started to replace my classics with DVD's via Amazon--some are at a very good price. Hope this helps. Any ideas as to where my old (in good shape) VHS tapes should go????? Anyone out there still have thier tape players in workout room?? I'd be happy to "donate" for only cost of shipping!!! emoticon
