“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

Since 2005 I have followed the burning desire to find the optimal me. I believe that who I am is based on the people I surround myself with, the books I read, and the CD's I listen to. These grow my mindset and the actions I take incorporating all these learnings help chisel away to find the real me.

Wayne Dyer is one of my favorite people! Each month I read a motivational book from a different author, listen to a motivational CD, and incorporate the learnings into my life. Last month I was listening to a CD by Wayne Dyer:
101 ways to transform your life
It was awesome learning to let go, let God, and forgive.

This month I am listening to a CD by Blair Singer:
Mastering the Little Voice

This is what I have been learning:
-Maintain your power in any situation
-Stop the debilitating chatter in your brain so you can attract what you want now
-Uncover and realize your lifelong dreams
-Break through self-sabotaging habits
-Build powerful, lasting confidence
-Resurrect the hero inside of you
-Embody the 21 proven techniques to reprogramming the "Little Voice" in your brain in 30 seconds

I found it to be very powerful. I mean God in all His omniscience and omnipotence loves me. Who am I to go against His will? This is what has driven me and comforted me since childhood. Knowing that I have the freedom to choose my paths and that He loves me unconditionally.

Truly you are inspired with all your various postings. I find so much healing and spiritual/emotional nourishment from many including this thread.

Read Coach Dean's first motivational blog. Very encouraging. Thanks.

The secret to life is simple: Enjoy what you have, work for what you want, love what you have been given, and never give up.

"Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein."
