glad to hear things are getting back on track..........all the best..........

“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

I have been consistently inconsistent these last 2 months... uggh! Up and down a few pounds in either direction.... just in survivial mode right now, been doing a little emotional eating but keeping it under control - damage control basically! Could be much better, but could also be worse in these circumstances. Better success next challenge!

All the ups and downs on this challenge and it has my weight 2 pounds below start weight.
This was a roller coaster of a challenge.

emoticon for the challenge I needed to start focusing better and that is what I am able to do now so thank you very much.

Happy emoticon on spark everyone! We are doing GREAT!

On 5-24 I weighed in at 168.2 that is a 3.2 gain in weight from 5-17 the week before. Since then much has changed with me and my workouts. Along with my early morning walk-jog of 4.26 miles I have now gone to a gym 3 days this week and had a trainer for the first two workouts I did. I will see the results of this change come Monday May 31st. I feel much better and that is more than 1/2 of an improvement for sure.
I did blog about why my ticker doesn't match my weight this week. For me the weight lose doesn't mean the same if I keep losing and gaining the same few pounds. Just what works best for me!

I am back on my game starting today. First early walk since Saturday and it really felt good. That weigh in was generous for what I am weighed in at yesterday and today. More work ahead the rest of the week and no more straying from my menu. I need to stay on track.

Ekes 2 weeks to go and I gained .6 of a pound this weigh in today. Could have been much worse for what I ate this weekend but somehow the body must have needed that hamburger and fries at Red Robbin emoticon WOW the higher powers are at work for me!

I am so far behind logging in here I am so sorry.
Last week I weighed in on a brand new scale as my wii broke from electric shortages.
Last Monday 5-3 ~ I gained 1.6 pounds on the new scale
Today 5-10 ~ I lost 3.4 pounds on the new scale.

My numbers are still up and down a little, but my PERFORMANCE is through the roof!! I think it will only be a matter of time before my body catches up, (Although it already HAS been a while, I feel good about the changes I am making. My pounds lost aren't lighting the world on fire, but that's okay with me! My body is changing!! Oddly, when I measure, I am not losing inches, but I feel like I am, my clothes fit better, kind of confusing.!

Fifth Week of Memorial Day Challenge......how is everyone doing?????

“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

Thanks HOSTALADY!!

I have had a great week of working out, working more activity in, listening to my body when I didn't rest it enough, and eating well. It feels GREAT!! The scale isn't reflecting the changes yet, but my body looks and feels transforming - I'll take it!!

Happy Thursday Teammates!!

My weight has been inconsistent. I am on the downward path, but last week I weighed anywhere from 212.4-217.8. Today I am 213.4. Still more than when I started the Easter challenge by a bit. A woman I work with and I have challenged each other to see who weighs less by April 30th. Our goal is to get under 200, but we'll see where we are at at the end of April to make more specifics.

Keep up the great work team!!

Alright, alright - I'll do this again :)

But honestly this time.

The easter challenge helped me lose 4lbs and keep them off... not bad.

So, May long weekend... I don't know what to set my goal at (maybe 5lbs) but I think I also have to give myself some tangible goals to help me reach that milestone... I'll keep you posted (I have to think about what I want and will commit to as goals).

Okay team it is only eight weeks until Memorial Day and the beginning of vacation and swimsuit season. I am challenging myself to lose at least 8 pounds by then.

Anyone that wants to join me just use your weight from yesterday or today and what you are challenging yourself to lose.
