Sorry about that I didn't see the Michigan link until after the fact, and saw you already had a link to this site. I need to do some more reviewing but I think I say a site that shows the Bavarian Inn at Frankinmuth has a gluten free menu.
They basically offer home made chicken dinners that are to die for, and with our problem I guess those words are no longer just literal ;-} Anyway I will get back and report the site for anyone in Michigan that is interested in knowing which restaurants have gluten free menus.
Hi Norma! You have some nice friends :), and I'm glad you're sharing your info! If you were to look at all the threads for this forum, you'd see it's broken down into states and provinces -- so, if you're from MI, then you'd find the Michigan thread and post there. (I wish I had control and could alphabetize, but I can't - every time there's a new post and it's not a "sticky topic" then it gets bumped to the top of the forum - fyi).
What would be good is if you could actually try this place and report back to the thread! I haven't had b-fast yet, so a "piece o cake" sounds very delish right now! *stomach gurgling*

In case it doesn't the name of the bakery is "A Piece O'Cake" bakery in East Lansing and her engineer husband played around with the different flour mixtures to come up with "a blend that yielded the same result as standard flour." I have never tried them so I can attest to the accuracy of this place but if anyone in Michigan is in the area you might want to give them a try and report back to let the rest of us know if it is worth a trip once in a while.
