Your sprouted grain bread and fresh pineapple was much healthier than my left-over cornbread drizzled with honey!

I took another look at your oatmeal mixture just this morning when I was posting. I still haven't tried it, but it's fresh on my mind again.

Those 2 egg McMuffins and the pancakes just once in a blue moon probably didn't hurt you any. Sometimes I eat pancakes for the insoluble fiber to help my constitution, as they used to say.

A cup of hot cereal, 1/2 Malt-o-Meal and 1/2 Bob's Red Mill 7-grain cereal, with about 4 ounces of 2% milk and less than a teaspoon of Agave.
This was not enough calories to sustain me, so I was hungry for lunch earlier than usual.

My friend wanted to meet at a Mexican restaurant for breakfast this morning, so I knew I had to pass up the tortillas. I ordered an omelette with lots of veggies -- tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, and spinach -- and Monterrey Jack cheese. The plate came with large chunks of pan fried potatoes and some refried beans. I ate 1/2 of the omelette, a couple of the potato pieces, and about 1/3 of the beans and brought the rest home for dinner tonight. I may still have some potatoes and beans left over for another meal.

And yes, I'm patting myself on the back for not over-eating! emoticon

I had some small peaches from the farmer's market today, along with some fresh tomato slices on a piece of thinly sliced ciabatta bread that I grilled in a little bit of butter. Didn't grill the tomatoes, just the bread. So tasty!

Some mornings I mix Bob's Red Mill 7-grain Hot Cereal with Cream of Wheat to give it a creamier texture, and that's what I did again today. I top it off with 1/2 teaspoon of brown sugar and a couple of ounces of scalded milk. It reminds me of my childhood and is one of my comfort foods.

This morning I had my protein powder mixed with 8 oz of a blueberry/acai probiotic juice, blended with ice. Yummy, but not filling enough -- so I'm ready for lunch!

Hi, Picklemire -- I just sent you a SparkMail with the info about my shakes. I don't think SparkPeople would approve of my new diet plan.

This morning I didn't drink the shake. Had two pancakes instead. I made them with the 40 calorie almond milk, so maybe they weren't too bad for my diet. I needed something different today, and I know I get cranky if I feel like I'm depriving myself too much!

I know this probably wouldn't be SP approved, but I had a special high protein shake for breakfast. I am on a new program where I'm supposed to eat five 250-calorie meals throughout the day, of certain unprocessed foods.
We'll see how it goes. I'm committed to trying something different. It comes with a money-back guarantee, but I don't want my money back -- I just want to lose some weight and be healthier!

Three pieces of bacon, two eggs (fried/steamed in just a little of the bacon grease with water added), two pieces of whole wheat lite toast, and a cup of hot tea with warm milk and honey.

Yesterday I had the same, but I scrambled my eggs with spinach, tomatoes, and a little onion, so the entire meal was a little healthier. I need to go to the grocery store to get more spinach and tomatoes, because that was really tasty. I sprinkled a little cheddar cheese over it yesterday, but next time I think I'll add cottage cheese to the eggs while they are cooking.

Today I mashed up a hard boiled egg and put about 2 tablespoons of cottage cheese in it. Then toasted some low cal whole wheat bread and made a sandwich out of that. Pretty good!

The sandwich itself ended up low cal and great on proteins, but I put some hot cocoa mix and warm milk in with my coffee. Very good, but not low cal!

Scrambled two eggs and put them in the flour tortillas that I saved last night from my dinner at Taco Cabana. Yummy!

Today I was rushing to go volunteer in the gardens at Hope Hospice, so I just quickly ate a bowl of Rice Krispies. No sugar added.

That sounds like a great breakfast, LoveByrd!
Today I had a bowl of bulgur wheat hot cereal. Would you believe that 1/4 cup dry has 10g protein?!

I had one egg, one egg white with a cup of Three Pepper Blend (onion, green, red, & yellow bell peppers) and 2 slices turkey bacon, super filling breakfast and only about 150calories!!

A Smart Ones Breakfast Quesadilla with iced coffee. Not the best I know but I don't have the Quesadillas often (usually a homemade smoothie or oatmeal) and I made the iced coffee myself, so it's tasty and low-cal (only 25 per cup!).

Wow that sounds so good. I had a healthy lunch and am making veggie soup for dinner. I'm right on with the calories. Woo Hoo.

I started out with a healthy breakfast this morning. I sauted about a tablespoon of onion and green pepper in 1 teaspoon margarine, and then added 1/2 of a medium-sized chopped tomato and some spinach. Then scrambled two large eggs into that. Ate the other half of the cold tomato with it, plus a glass of orange juice. Yum!
I bought some Smart Balance peanut butter for the first time, so I'm going to try that this next week...
