I have been doing Jillain's NMTZ & BFBM DVDs faithfully, eating right and SparkPeople. If you are diligent with her DVDs you will see changes that amaze you!!
Ok here's the results:
June 13th Weight 163 Waist 38.75 Hips 43.5 Thigh 26 Arm 14 Body Fat 40%
July 13th Weight 157 Waist 36.5 Hips 43.5 Thigh 26 Arm 13 Body Fat 38%
August 13th Weight 151 Waist 34 Hips 42 Thigh 24.5 Arm 13 Body Fat 36%
From April to June I faithfully did the 30 Day Shred (before I found SparkPeople)and lost 11 pounds. More important than the weight loss was that I can honestly say I have never felt better than now and I am able to knock out her new vids because of 30 Day Shred. They are great!

I know that when you do the strength training you need to give your muscles time to repair themselves. I think that since this is more like circuit training it can be done everyday.. Having said that, I think that it is also a comfort level..sometimes we take on too much and then in the end...we do not follow through. So, if every other day or monday to friday works for you, that is what you need to do
Hi, Tannis. I'm in! I started the same challenge a few days ago on another team, but I've missed some days and I'm also confused on some points. If we're only supposed to strength train every other day, why does Jillian say to do the 30 Day Shred 5 days straight? I know some people do 30 days straight through, also. Which cycle are you going to do: every other day until you reach 30 days, 5 days on and 2 off, or 30 days straight through. I don't understand....

I have finally decided to give Jillians 30 day Shred a 30 day try (I have had the DVD for a few months now) Jillian says the dvd is made for you to do 10 days of level one, 10 days of level 2 and then 10 days of level 3.
I have decided that tomorrow will be my day 1 and today will be spent getting my kitchen (and myself) ready.
I'm going to take my starting measurments tonight and do my first level 1 in the morning...anyone care to join me?
