Goodnight Ladies,
Hope all is well. Roz thank s for believing in me. I started the no eating after 7 and feel wonderful. I watch everything that goes in my mouth and make sure
i log. My biggest issue was portions sizes also but i am learning to measure everything. Val, Roz we can do this just believe.

Hi Friends!
Hope everyone is in a good frame of mind right now.
I'm still here yoyoing and I know I'm not on a strict diet so I'm what I eat.There are excellent days,good days and bad days.
Lately I've realised that I take in so much even at breakfast that even though it may be low calorie-----it is the amount!!! Why am I so greedy???
Anyway I've cut down somewhat or at least I'm making an effort most of the days ,and I would like to think that I'm seeing a miniscule change but then we have to be thankful for small mercies and the bigger ones will follow.

Val-----Take heart about that pre-diabetic thing.You can keep it at bay by reducing your carbs intake and exercise,exercise,exercise as Saturn rightly suggested walk a lot.I know you already know all this but remember you're not alone.

Saturn----I know you will loose those 3lbs so I'm not worried for you .

Newmom----What's happening? Hope you and family are ok?
Sonia------I hope you're not overdoing it in Ja,but do enjoy yourself.
Where are folks like Sandi,53 Roses,Tall girl,Arochford?
It would be nice to hear from you folks who are MIA.

Thanks Angie. I will quit being a wimp. Some of us(me) just love to complain. If I tell myself I will succeed, then I know I will. Thanks for being a great friend. Both you and Roz have kept me going, and I want to say that I appreciate you both very much.

You can do this, one step at a time try cutting down on the carbs. Eat protein & good carbs in small portions. It's not what you eat it's how much.

My wt has remained the same. I had a recent work by an endocrinologist, and have been diagnosed with pre-diabetes. This means I have to work doubly hard to keep the wt off. Since hearing this news, I have been eating everything in sight. I am upset with my body, and my genes. Okay, I am not going to wallow in self pity. Can't seem to get back on my exercise schedule, and I am afraid to eat for fear of impacting my blood sugar adversely. What the hell!!!

I gained 3.8 pounds on vacation. Shameful I will loose by next week.

My goal is to lose 2lbs a week. 12 lbs by xmas.
My exercise goal is 45 minutes 4 times a week.
Additional goals are: 8 glasses of water a day, 1 glass of low fat milk(I need the calcium) 3 servings of fruits, and vegetables(fruit is easy).
