My doctor recommended that I start drinking hibiscus tea because my BP is getting high. She wants me to drink 2-3 cups per day and make some other dietary changes before going the 'medication' route. I have been drinking it hot and also making some for iced tea which is really yummy. I bought some loose organic hibiscus flowers on Amazon.com from Davidson's and also bought tea bags from Republic of Tea. I like them both. I am not a big tea drinker, I usually have coffee in the morning, but now I am down to 1-1 1/2 cups of coffee (half decaf) per day. I hope this will help my BP because I really don't want to start a medication for it.
