lunch plate except for peanut butter. With that I use a large soup ladle!

Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

I use a small plate for individual portions and salad plate for dinner. 2-4 oz of meat and the rest vegies.

That's a great idea. More veggies would make it more filling!

Good thinking CARBOHOLIC!
I sort of do the same thing. I use a stainless steel mixing bowl for my salad, and the lunch plate for pasta.
I'm a pasta FREAK! So, I have had to learn to mix a lot of veggies into my pasta. It works! emoticon

For salads, I have big pasta bowls. If we have pasta, then we use small bowls. If I don't weigh or measure, my portions creep up in size.

I use a regular plate, I'm too old to fall for tricking myself with small plates!

I always use lunch plates but will sometimes put my scrambled eggs on a saucer - it's that much less to wash!

Lunch plates for us, but have some dinner plate for the kids when they visit.
