You go into the center for something as frivolous as TP? emoticon

That's ok. We all have to venture the middle aisles occasionally! lol! After all, that's where the TP is!

Ok, I ventured into a center aisle yesterday to buy tortilla chips...but they were Garden of Eatin Blue with no salt. Does that count?

I picked tomatoes, squash, zucchini, peppers (jalapeno, bell and gypsy), cucumbers and herbs from the garden at work. Picked several cups of wild blackberries from the "woods" at work.

I went to Whole Foods yesterday and ground fresh peanut butter, got quinoa, unsweetened shredded coconut, raw sunflower seeds, mangoes, fresh green beans, carrots, "raw" almonds (which are really lightly steamed because of E. coli from California.)

This wasn't a serious shopping trip, more of a "what sounds good" trip. I'll have to go again sometime this weekend, but this trip was pretty much outside aisles.

Went shopping today; I did need a couple of the things from the "inner aisles".

Large tomatoes (for stuffing)
mushrooms
broccoli
onions
orange bell peppers
frozen organic blackberries
frozen organic blueberries
monteray jack cheese
feta cheese
organic low sodium chicken broth
multigrain stoned wheat thins
phyllo pastry
dry curd cottage cheese
raw organic almonds
yogurt covered pretzels (treat for my 6 year old)

All the produce was organic except the tomatoes. I guess they were out.
The low sodium broth has only 45 mg sodium per cup. WOW!

For the month of July, I challenge all you clean eaters to stay on the outside perimeter of the grocery store. (within reason of course) I expect that you may have to venture to the inner aisles occasionally for things like TP, dishsoap and the occasional canned and baking supplies...
Also, if you want, you can post your shopping list here to share...

I'll be going shopping tomorrow, I'll come back and post.
