Oh Hawggy I do hope you get that little hobby farm. I would have more of a "farm" if my husband was more into it. I just can't do it all myself. I've tried and there just seems to always be heavy stuff that is too much. He helps when he can but he's just not available enough and isn't all that interested. We just brought in 6 bales of hay for the goats. I did it all myself last year and injured myself. Hubby helped me this time (he's a luv) but he just can't be consistent enough. I would love to have chickens. But I never know when we might be going away somewhere. My daughter-in-law is a great animal babysitter but she's got a LOT, I mean a LOT going on in her life right now--hate to take advantage...I need to go to bed, I'm rambling! Oh dear, the goats need their hooves trimmed...sigh, always something!

Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

I loo forward to getting some land. The hubbie and I want to have a little hobby farm. You know, just a dozen chickens (layers) maybe a some for eating also, a milk cow, maybe a pig. I've had chickens before and they were a lot of fun to have. I really enjoyed stealing their BIG BROWN eggs every morning. A dozen every day. We had Rhode Island Reds. I also love gardening, but I need to have my own property. Not a rental... We are hoping to have our own piece by next year. emoticon

I thought there was another article like from Mike Adams or... but I still can't find it. It was shorter and easier to get through. But Doc Mercola's is pretty thorough and yes, he's great...weird sometimes maybe, but great!!
Did I ever tell you that I got to go see him here in Portland when he was touring. We had a real nice time of discussion and he was jealous that I and a few other attendees had goats and fresh goat milk. That was several years ago. I don't have my dairy goats any more but my neighbor does so I still get to drink it. I think the good doctor has his sources together now that he's become so rich and famous. I say GREAT for him! he deserves it and he just goes on and on using his knowledge, his energy and resources to spread the truth. LOVE IT!

Thanks Laura for this post. Great information. Seem like I just read another newsletter that had some similar information about aspartame. I'll have to go look for it.

The scientific name for aspartame is 1-aspartyl 1 phenylalanine methyl ester. It has three components:

1. phenylalanine which makes up 50 percent of the chemical by weight
2. aspartic acid -- 40 percent
3. methanol (wood alcohol) -- 10 percent

And more info on Splenda
