Well, after I googled your question, I have found out that the SCOOP size can vary from protein powder to protein powder. So, when a recipe calls for a SCOOP, if the BRAND hasn't been mentioned, you will most likely just have to guess. I've had pretty good luck in using a SCOOP as 1/4 cup, but that is just LUCK! LOL! I would say try a 2 tbsp scoop and you can always add more...
Hope that helps!

That's a great idea, SHANIHIB! Weighing your servings always makes good sense!

A serving is normally 28g on the different powders I've tried. For some that is "1 scoop" and for others it is "2 scoops." I put that in quotation marks because I've found that a scoop is normally very different weight than 28g! I weigh mine because of that.

I've backslidden... I reached my goal and was now maintaining, but now I need to lose 10 pounds and firm up.

I think a scoop is usually 2 tbsp, but I do have a powder that has a 4 tbsp scoop.

I just bought some vegan protein powder, and I found the scoop half way down the container! I'll look at it tonight and see what the measurement is.

Hi!

I am new to this team. I have been eating clean for about 4 weeks now.

My protein powder did not come with a scoop. The serving size is 2 TBSP. When a recipe calls for a "scoop" of protein powder, does anyone know what the measurement of that would be?

Thanks.

Margaret
