I have already had scheduling issues -sigh- getting back to it is the only option --and by evening I have substituted 2 "all-star workouts" from Fit TV -- back in the saddle,so to speak

OK! Here we go. My birthday is June 14th, I want to see how much weight I can loose by then. Back in March I was hoping that would be about 20lbs, however, that is not to be. So, my goal now is to stick with the workouts and eat properly, and see what the results will be.

Thank you this is really super!! I had planned to do the videos, but had not thought of a way to do the challenges. I love this. lost 7.6 lbs this last month and want to keep it going and this will help.

Your Bonus Challenges
week 1
1- is to update your SparkPage or blog with your starting stats—such as "before" photos, your goals for the month, what you hope to accomplish during Bootcamp, or any other measurements. This way, when you complete the Bootcamp you'll have proof of where you started and the progress you've made.
2- is to eat at least 3 servings of fruit.
3- is to do 2 sets (10-15 reps) of close-arm pushups, which you can find here: www.sparkpeople.com/resource/exercises.asp
?exercise=108 .
4- is to eat at least 3 vegetables today.
5-is to work out with music. In addition to entertaining you, music has been proven to actually affect brain wave patterns. Play calming music during yoga, Pilates or post-workout stretching sessions. Rock out to something energetic on the elliptical or during a walk. Compile motivating playlists for strength-training sessions. Add slower songs for warm-ups and cool downs and throw in a few up-tempo songs to help you pick up the pace mid-workout. No MP3 player? No problem. Check out Pandora.com or our SparkSounds playlists to find tunes that are right for you.
Music Makes Workouts More Pleasurable:
6-is to limit your caffeine intake today. Try a snack with whole grains and protein.
7- is to meet your water recommendations.

8- is to take some time to remind someone in your life how much they mean to you. In may it was meant for mothers day.

10-is to add a healthy salad to one of your meals.
11- is to boost your fiber intake.
12- is to try something new. i.e. new veggie, recipie, exercise, walking route

14-is to go on a brisk 15-minute walk sometime during the day.

15-is to cook a healthful meal that you can eat throughout the week.

27- is to treat yourself. You've been working hard for four weeks. It's time to enjoy a bit of "me" time. Watch a favorite movie, read a new book or listen to music and relax for a bit. Paint your toenails, treat yourself to a haircut if it's in the budget, or take a long bath. Meditate, give yourself a facial or take a nap. Be decadent. Go ahead--you've earned it!
28-is to go shopping! Even if you don't buy anything, find the fit that flatters you most and enjoy yourself. P.S. Now's the time to compare those before and after measurements and photos!
