Meet aerobic exercise guidelines/week (3 times a week minimum)
Meet strength training guidelines/week (3 times a week)
Take 5,000 steps per day
Mix up your workout (do one new thing/day)
-- Take a new fitness class (at work, the gym, or a DVD, or video)
-- Exercise activities outdoors
-- Take the stairs
-- Do not sit for longer than 1 hour. (Stand while on the phone, walk to a co-worker’s desk
instead of emailing them, , etc.)
- Chair march when on computer, watching TV etc
