I'll be honest, three apple empanadas Wensday and two this morning. Those things are 310 calories each. When my son works until close at Taco Bell, he often brings some home. I should have said "put those in the freezer."

Silly me!!! I forgot this was a 5 day challenge. I had one muffin left from before the challenge, and I threw it away yesterday because I thought it would spoil by the end of the challenge. It wasn't hard throwing it away.
This challenge forced me to find something good to eat that is healthy. Well, I rediscovered my love of balsamic vinegar and salads. When you are busy, and don't take the time to really plan or think; the lettuce and tomato on a burger becomes your veges for the entire day. Lol
Thanks for the challenge. I will not buy any muffins this weekend. I want to see how long I can keep it going.
Day 2 no muffins. Yesterday I ate lays chips. I hadn't had them in 2 months. It was like giving up muffins, but going back to an old habit. Fortunately they have lost their appeal. I did not get the same satisfaction. I had to look at the date because they tasted stale. Date Nov8th.
So hopefully the muffins will lose their appeal after these 5 days.
OK... I'm in! I will give up my Saltine crackers.. I've been wanting to do this anyway. So this is perfect timing. I still have some left in the cupboard so it will be challenging for me... we'll see if I can?? 09/24 09/25 09/26 09/27 09/28 Good Luck to everyone else with their "give ups"
Ouch - this really hurts! BUT I'm going to give up any form of "sweets" - candy, cake, pie, etc. - they are my "up-fall" - I can't say "downfall" because nothing goes down when I eat them!!!! This is exactly what I need to make me focus on NOT eating them. Sheila
Wow, I gave up peanut butter weeks ago. I too ate it right out of the jar with my cutest little spoon. Sometimes I would add a little jelly to the jar. It just hit me one day how many calories were in one tbsp. I stopped buying it. Let's see how long it will last.
Ok, I guess I will give up muffins. I love pumpkin muffin and cran/orange. I got upset because twice this week DD ran out of pumpkin muffins. I even let them know that was not my favorite DD store. LOL Gosh how silly was that. I can hear the fat on my thighs giggling.
I will give up ALL peanut butter, whether it's real peanut butter that I buy for the family like JIF, or whether it's my vegan peanut butter that I have to mix up from a powder. (I have a jar of that in the cupboard. Better hide it now!)
