emoticon Goal!
You do have all of the components. It will be interesting to see how it works for you! emoticon I am sorry you are not happy with outcome. Unfortunately, our bodies will not always co-operate with our timetable-NOW. However, every time you don't gain, and lose that .5 you are successful. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

My goal is to loose 12 lbs between now and Dec 5 which is 14 weeks. I think that is .5 lbs a week. This seems relaistic, attainable, and measurable. Its just I'm allowed more food emoticon

BONBON561,
It is apparent you are focused on your nutrition goals. emoticon
However, for your benefit, I would suggest you edit your goals, using the SMART technique.
Your goal does lack a bit of specificity. It will help you see the big picture more clearly.
This exercise is your choice. You decide if you do it whether or not to share.
As always I look forward to hearing updates.
Teresa

EARTHSMILE,
Your goal this week to exercise at least 15 minutes is a great one!
For your personal benefit, I suggest you edit this goal using the SMART criteria. It is possible it won't make sense now, but it will. Just as you will continue. A three day streak is something to be proud! emoticon
Looking forward to hearing more as you continue to progress. emoticon
Best wishes,
Teresa

EB,
I am glad you have set some goals. Every now and again it is time to re-evaluate. emoticon However, when you admit to not being very kind to yourself, this does concern me. I see motivation with the attitude of learning, and moving on. emoticon
This week I want you to take the next step: Write your goals, and edit them into SMART
goals. emoticon
It is up to you whether or not you share.
Best wishes as you continue to move forward!

Teresa

My main goal right now is to just move everyday for 15 to 30 mins. So far for the last 3 days I have done very well. I want to continue.

Thanks for helping to keep us all on track.

Allow light into your heart and home everyday.

I really need this. I set some goals last weekend and I have not been very kind to myself this week. Time to revamp and keep moving forward!

Your challenge this week ( September 8-15 ) is to focus on your goals.

Are your goals SMART? ( Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely) If not, this may be contributing to keeping you from moving in the direction you wish to go.
Goals change with every choice we make. You may be surprised at what you uncover!

You may share your experiences, and insights with other team members on this thread. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
