Don't get discouraged are not able to fully complete this. It is not easy. emoticon

Those computers are really tough to get away from. I have the same problem. I know it is tough( or it is for me-I am practicing this myself).
Some studies even suggest that if you consciously focus on what you are eating, and become more in touch with how you experience food-using as many senses as you can, you may be less likely to binge, and weight loss may be easier.
I am glad you are willing to give it a try! Couldn't hurt?

I am starting this challenge a little late. I have developed a bad habit of eating in front of my computer. So for the rest of this challenge I will make it a point of not eating in front of my computer.

I am glad you enjoyed the celebration! Having a good time with our family and friends is good for our health! Many occasions are surrounded by food.
Try can become will. It is called a challenge because it isn't an easy thing to do. Simply a few moments away from all of the chaos, or less. However, I do challenge you to spend an entire meal with that as your sole focus.emoticon

I'll give it a try at dinner time.
Aug 19- Ate dinner with family at DD's house. I really enjoyed the conversation. I ate a little more than normal. It was a b-day celebration.
Aug 20-Ate dinner at the table while everyone else watched football on tv.
Aug 21- Skipped dinner- was ill

Focusing on our food can help us in our efforts to lose weight. If our focus is on what we are eating we are not left hungry after leaving table. In the long run, we eat less.
We actually taste the food, and perhaps learn to enjoy some new things. It never hurts to try. emoticon

This week (August 19-25 your challenge is to get rid of all distractions during meals. This means: no computer, no television, no looking through your mail or talking on the phone. 
Family communication, is encouraged. 
You are to sit at the table and enjoy every bite! 
You may keep track of the times you were successful and note any distractions which occurred.
