I am struggling with the Veggie goal; I really am. I must make a juice today using my Juicer. I can easily have only 2 veggies/fruit a day. Must think of ways to make this more appealing!
Any advice?

I'm really struggling, mood-wise. I'm trying to focus on the positive and not let myself sink down too deeply into the negatives, but I'm having a hard time staying chipper.

Food and exercise are both going pretty well.

Hit my goal weight 9/16/11 and aim to remain there for good!

Way to go!!!

Last week i was pretty succesful on my goals - but only lost 0.8 pounds overall.

But I logged in everyday, drank my 8 cups of water everyday, hit 10,000 steps 6 of the 7 days, logged over 5700 calories burned with cardio, and stayed within my calorie range all 7 days! On the personal side - I felt incredibly busy with no more free time than normal so I still need on work on that.

I had about 10 servings of veggies yesterday. I guess I was trying to make up for lost days. LOL

I've got to work on the veggie goal again. Since I've been sick I've been not eating as well. But I feel myself on the mend. Thank God for antibiotics! LOL

I'm doing alright. Back down today to within a half pound of my goal, finally.

On the personal front, I'm having lunch with friends when the chance arises. Today will be my third lunch off campus with a few coworkers in the last couple of weeks, which is fun. And last week I had a chance to have lunch with some grads from a couple of years ago, and that was enjoyable too.

DH and I also made it so DD could go to the pool twice last weekend, each time with a different friend. Yes, swimming in January! Crazy weather here in So Cal last weekend. ;)

Ok- next week done -still doing ok. Only lost 1.2 pounds this week - but I went over my calorie range 3 times. Got way over on my cardio minutes, drank all my water, logged in every day and got my 10,000 steps on all but one day - but I went over 21,000 on another day so I'm still feeling good about it. On to week 3!

So far, I'm doing good.

I am tracking everything going into my body and have actually only gone over my calorie # once (but it was bad - out to dinner and a movie with popcorn and lots of Candy).

But, I have been able to get 90+ minutes of exercise everyday, log in to Spark everyday, get my 8+ cups of water everyday, and get over 10,000 steps each day.

I'm down 5.6 pounds from last Monday which seems like a lot but I went up so much in such a short time - I knew some would come off fast. Now to get back down to where I was in October :)

And on a personal note - I also have a goal of trying to be less busy - Organize my life more- read books that are good for me to read - not just entertaining, and try to interact with my family (extended - not core) more which is hard since I don't get along with them all very much sometimes.

I set weekly or monthly goals for myself and so far am doing pretty well with them.

On a different note, I'd like to create more opportunities for connecting with friends in real life (not email or Facebook!) for me and DH, and more time with friends away from school or the ballet studio for DD.

Hit my goal weight 9/16/11 and aim to remain there for good!

How are the goals going MKBOELE. I find the holidays fun but from a healthy lifestyle point of view very frustrating!

So far I've been eating my fruits and veggies much more consistently. Thanks to my new Juicer. It's been very helpful.

I had a horrible December so I set some goals for myself for January to get me going again:

I am going to track everything - good or bad - and STAY within my cal limits at least 4 times/week.

I want perfect attendance logging in to Spark this month. And I try to get 50 points/day (at least Mon-Fri).

I want 450 fitness minutes Every week this month.

And I want to reach my step counter goal of 10,000 steps at least 6 of the 7 days every week this month.

I figure if I can do that, I'll lose this regained weight quickly nad get on to unchartered waters in my weight loss.

I've been juicing most days. It feels good to know you're eating something healthy.

Now I have a pedometer. I want to see just how active I am every day.

One habit I have to correct is my eating enough fruits and vegetables. I'm going to try to correct this bad habit.

One step I've taken to help is decision is I bought a "Juicer". I've used it twice thus far. The juice' tastes a bit odd but at least I'm getting in a lot of different veggies and fruits.
