Hi, I am a transplant to Arizona from Rochester, N.Y. If I miss anything more it would be this time of the year. When those leaves change and the air is cool. Ok, so I miss Easter in New York. Oh yeah, and Liliac season .... Well I guess I miss my home town. I love Arizona too. Our winters in Phoenix is perfect. We have Orange blossoms in March. The whole town smells like paradise to me. And the hiking is great anywhere in AZ. I am blessed to be here but I miss the changing of the seasons.

I love the weather and the leaves... I could care less about most holidays... But I do love fall vegetables and fruit!

I LOVE Halloween. We trick or treat on the 31st, but celebrate Halloween all month! The kids and I watch movies, listen to CD's, decorate, make crafts, etc. to keep the mood going all month!

Where I live, the leaves are just beginning to turn. When it happens, no matter how repetitious or predictable, the wild and fiery tree colors always take one's breath away in awe. Those Canada geese make their way through here a bit later on. A honk, and my eyes are scanning the sky looking for a formation. They are splendid!

Hi all, I know this is off topic from HIIT but we have to enjoy ourselves too!
October is here already! What is your favorite thing about October and the fall solstice, the falling leaves, the fall harvest, Halloween,etc.
I love the falling leaves, the cooler temps, our Canada Geese massing to leave, Thanksgiving.
