Yes I did! 2 miles in 30 minutes on Friday. Our company is in a business park, and our President had this fabulous walking path put in. There are all sorts of different trails and variations with color-coded distance trackers. It's great to go for a walk during lunch or a run after work.
This is motivating me. Several years ago one of my colleagues and I brought our lunch and spent about 20 minutes eating and the other 40 walking. There is a nice walking trail nearby so there is no excuse for me not to go. I am going to try to find another partner (my walking buddy moved on to greener pastures) and start this again. If I can't find one I may go solo. Thanks for reminding me how much I used to enjoy doing this.
I try to walk at lunch every day. I have an hour, which is way too much time for lunch, and I like to get out of the building. Plus, if I don't leave the building at lunch, I won't get a lunch. I usually walk for 30 minutes and then sit outside at Starbucks and eat my lunch.
