Yes I did! 2 miles in 30 minutes on Friday. Our company is in a business park, and our President had this fabulous walking path put in. There are all sorts of different trails and variations with color-coded distance trackers. It's great to go for a walk during lunch or a run after work.

This is motivating me. Several years ago one of my colleagues and I brought our lunch and spent about 20 minutes eating and the other 40 walking. There is a nice walking trail nearby so there is no excuse for me not to go. I am going to try to find another partner (my walking buddy moved on to greener pastures) and start this again. If I can't find one I may go solo. Thanks for reminding me how much I used to enjoy doing this. emoticon

Sadly, no. I work in an industrial area, no sidewalks and most of the buildings are surrounded by tall fences, its hard to tell when trucks will come out! Not exactly the safest walking environment.

I try to walk at lunch every day. I have an hour, which is way too much time for lunch, and I like to get out of the building. Plus, if I don't leave the building at lunch, I won't get a lunch. I usually walk for 30 minutes and then sit outside at Starbucks and eat my lunch.

I haven't walked at lunch time in a long time. But I did today and it felt great. Not only did I get some much needed exercise, it got me out of the office for 30 minutes.

I don't always get a chance to do that. Today I took a brief walk. It felt good and I hope to do more of that.

When I was younger I did walk at lunch. Then I got 'busy' and had lunch meetings. Then I saw an 80+ year old lawyer walking at lunch, year round and thought one of us was lazy.

I am very lucky! I have a job that is all physical! I have to walk, squat, lift, stretch, push and pull. I get a great work out at work! I love it!

When I was working - I walked at least 3 days /week during my lunch...I felt great - I had a friend and we packed a small lunch - and then walked for 40 minutes.

I can do ALL things thru Christ who strengths me.

Nohing tastes as good as losing weight feels!

I am a VICTOR over food, not a VICTIM of food
