I, like many here, have trouble with the weekends. I always overeat, or eat things I know I shouldn't (*coughcoughfastfoodcoughough*)
But this weekend was different. Not only did I avoid all temptations of that glorious oh so bad for me and my tummy fast food, I also tracked all my foods! AND stayed in my calorie ranges! All in one weekend! I don't know that that's ever happened before. I'm so excited!
My trick: I treated lunch like I was at work. I ate what I would have if I was at work, and no more. I felt full (none of that phantom weekend hunger here!) and satisfied with myself. For dinner, I just ate what we had. Last night I ruined dinner, and said to hubby let's just go to Subway. At least a healthy choice, right? I changed my mind, realized what I was doing, and threw some fish in the oven and veggies in the microwave. Healthy, satisfying dinner and room alloted for some frozen yogurt.
