We have a small group here but it is nice to find oxycisers among us! Please introduce yourself in the introduction forum of our team so the rest of the team can get to know you too. And don't forget your spark page. You know, I actually joined in January but didn't use the site until the end of July!! The "Getting Started Guide" under the "Quick Links" box on the right of the page really opened my eyes to what help was available and got me motivated.
One thing that has really helped me, that I truly underestimated, was the supportive people on SparkPeople.
I am glad that you like to Oxycise and that it has really benefited you! I hadn't noticed that my cravings for sweets, etc. has diminished, but it has. WOW! Thanks for posting! Could you do the "easy does it" series while your back is out? She also says that you can substitute whatever exercises are uncomfortable or just do the oxycise breaths without the positions. Perhaps that will help you while you are laid up. As far as the exercises goes, I have to substitute the "torpedo exercises" because my rear is too padded to allow my lower back to touch the floor during those exercises. I hate it too because they are my favorite exercises. But, in time, I will lose more weight and can joyfully add those back.
